Provided the first life support, sleeping quarters and work areas on the ISS.<\/p>\n<p><em><i>Destiny<\/i><\/em>. The main laboratory for US experiments.<\/p>\n<p><em><i>Columbus<\/i><\/em>. Laboratory for European experiments.<\/p>\n<p><em><i>Kibo<\/i><\/em>. Also known as the Japanese Experiment Module (JEM), the largest module on ISS. \u00a0It also has an exposed facility (EF) for exterior experiments.<\/p>\n<p><em><i>Harmony<\/i><\/em>. Also known as Node 2, acts as a junction point joining other modules and distributes power and data to them. \u00a0It also has sleeping quarters.<\/p>\n<p><em><i>Tranquility<\/i><\/em>.
